Petrified Wood is ancient wood that has been transformed into stone over millions of years. It symbolizes grounding, endurance, stability, patience, and the strength that comes with time and experience.
Together, Mother of Pearl and Petrified Wood create an unusual balance — intuition and grounding, softness and strength, movement and stability. The contrast between luminous Mother of Pearl and earthy fossilized wood gives the brooch its distinctive contemporary character.

Q: Are all your jewelry pieces one-of-a-kind?
Yes. While I occasionally revisit designs that inspire me, I never reproduce them exactly. Every gemstone is naturally unique, and every piece is handcrafted individually.
Nature never repeats a stone, and an artist's hand never repeats a piece exactly.

Yes.
I work with genuine natural gemstones, crystals, minerals, and pearls. I preserve their natural forms whenever possible and allow each stone to guide the design.
Natural variations in color, texture, shape, and inclusions are part of the beauty of genuine stones and make every piece unique.
Q: Why Modern Amulets?
To me, an amulet is not something mysterious or magical.
It is a deeply personal object—something we wear as a reminder of our strength, our intentions, or what matters most to us.
Every piece I create is designed to be both sculptural jewelry and a modern amulet—bringing together the beauty of genuine natural gemstones, traditional symbolism, and thoughtful craftsmanship.
Q: What materials do you use?
My jewelry combines genuine natural gemstones with carefully selected materials chosen for their beauty, durability, and ability to support sculptural designs.
Brass serves as the foundation for many of my designs, allowing me to sculpt organic compositions around genuine natural gemstones.
All of my necklaces, rings, bracelets, and brooches are built on a brass foundation and handcrafted individually in my Jerusalem studio.
